Get, confidential debt advice

Give your finances room to breathe again.

If unsecured debt is piling up faster than you can manage it, an Individual Voluntary Arrangement could combine what you owe into one affordable monthly payment — and legally protect you from further creditor action while it's in place.

  • One single monthly payment, set at what you can afford
  • Interest and charges typically frozen from day one
  • Legal protection from creditor contact and court action
  • Remaining eligible debt written off at the end of the term

An IVA may not be right for everyone. Fees apply and your credit file will be affected for up to 6 years.

Every situation is different, so we build the picture with you before anything is decided.

01

Tell us what's going on

A short, judgement-free call about your income, debts and who you owe money to. Nothing is agreed at this stage.

02

See your real options

We'll set out what may be available — including an IVA — in plain English, with the benefits and the risks.

03

Decide in your own time

If an IVA looks right, we help you prepare a proposal for your creditors. If it isn't right, we'll say so.

In plain English

What actually is an IVA?

An Individual Voluntary Arrangement is a formal, legally binding agreement between you and the people you owe money to. It's arranged through a licensed insolvency practitioner and usually runs for around five to six years.

Instead of juggling separate repayments to each creditor, you make one affordable monthly payment based on what you can genuinely afford. Once the arrangement is approved, your creditors can't add further interest or take legal action against you while it runs — and at the end of the term, any remaining eligible balance is typically written off.

The potential benefits

What a debt solution could help with

Lower monthly payments

Turn several separate repayments into a single amount based on what's actually affordable.

Frozen interest & charges

Most solutions stop further interest and charges building up on eligible balances.

Less creditor contact

Once your creditors are notified, calls, letters and collection activity should ease off.

🛡

Legal protection

Formal solutions like an IVA give you protection from further legal action while it runs.

Eligible debt written off

Whatever remains unpaid at the end of a successful arrangement is typically cleared.
